Iron Bakery Dough Bucket & Stand
An early 20th Century iron bakery dough bucket and stand. This vintage bakery bucket would have been used to collect dough and move it around the bakery to the next process, hence the mobile stand. This superb industrial iron bucket is in good condition and is strong and sturdy, it is shown with a large and very heavy hosta planting display in our photograph (we have put a planted container within the bucket as this makes watering easier) There is a small area of wear under the rim to one side, this cannot be seen without careful scrutiny, this is shown in one of the detail pictures. The stand is in good robust condition, with the wheels running well. This vintage bakery bucket and stand have acquired a superb rusty patina which is most attractive and looks wonderful either on its own or planted with a display of greenery. A superb piece that would make a quirky and unusual plant stand and add interest to any garden or patio.
