1930's Lacquered Table Lamp
A very decorative lacquered table lamp dating from the early 20th Century. The elegant column stands on a circular base and terminates with a turned vase shaped decoration. This antique table lamp has red and soft gold lacquered and painted oriental figures and landscapes which are well executed and contrast beautifully with the black ground. The condition is good, there is a very minor chip where the lamp holder is housed, but this cannot be seen as it is covered by the lampshade and does not detract from the beauty or function of the lamp. This is a very unusual and highly decorative lamp and would be a distinctive and decorative addition to any interior. The lamp has an electrical safety PAT test and is compatible with UK electrical standards. The shade is not included.
