A superb 19th Century camphor wood two part campaign chest with two short drawers over three long drawers with decorative ebony stringing. This fine antique military chest of drawers has its original brass corner plates, flush handles and substantial carrying handles to both sections. The colour and patina of this Victorian campaign chest is excellent and the condition is very good. There is a minor crack to the inside of one short drawer, this is inside the chest and only visible when opening the drawer and is not detrimental in any way. This is a wonderful example of 19th Century campaign furniture offering excellent storage facility and decorative appeal and is ready to compliment any design scheme.
