19th Century Curved Nursery Fire Guard

An unusual 19th century curved nursery fire guard with brass rail and scalloped decoration. This Victorian fire guard is in good condition, the iron base plate is particularly sturdy making it very stable. There is a minor space in the scalloped border, this does not affect the appeal and is clearly shown in the photographs. The shape and proportions of this antique nursery fire guard are most attractive and it would practical charm to any hearth.
