19th Century Malachite Marbled Glass Vase

A very decorative purple malachite pressed glass pedestal vase.  This striking antique glass vase has fluted and moulded banding and three fin type handles. The marbling on this elegant Victorian glass vase is particularly strong, as is the crispness of the moulding.  The malachite colouring is really eye catching. The vase is in excellent condition and bears the lozenge mark of Davidson of Gateshead to the base, it is dated 1877.  A really superb example of its type, this beautiful glass vase is a decorative stand alone piece or perfect addition to any glass  collection.
