19th Century Nursery Fire Guard with Brass Double Rail

A good sized 19th Century nursery fire guard with double brass rail and lower brass border to the base. The double brass rail would have been used to dry clothes in the nursery and is a lovely feature.  This generously proportioned Victorian fire guard is in very good condition, it stands firmly and the mesh and cast iron base are both sound. A very attractive and practical antique nursery fire guard ready to place in the home.
