19th Century Tortoiseshell Tea Caddy
A very pretty 19th Century hexagonal tortoiseshell tea caddy with fine silver inlay and ivory stringing and base. The small proportions make this an attractive and unusual antique tea caddy. In spite of the hinge being replaced and evidence of early restoration to the panels, this caddy retains its decorative charm and is a very pretty piece.
