French Empire Mahogany Console/Hall Table
A very elegant French Empire console table with pierced brass gallery, marble top, inset marble lower shelf and full width drawer. The rich colour of the well patinated mahogany of this striking antique table is complimented throughout with ebony stringing and brass inlay. The fluted legs have tapered feet and delicate brass terminals. The brass gallery, moulding, handles and inlay have an antiqued finish giving a very subtle and understated elegance to this striking table. There is some discolouration and a minor hairline crack to the lower marble shelf as shown. A really beautiful and impressive antique hall or side table.
