George II Octagonal Oak & Fruitwood Pillar Table

An exquisite George II lamp table, the octagonal oak top is raised on a turned fruitwood collared balluster pedestal terminating on a fine tripod base. The top has a low raised rim. The exceptional colour and patina highlight the beautiful grain of the wood. This 18th Century table is in good original condition, standing evenly and firmly. There is evidence of old woodworm as can be expected in a piece of this age, this is not live and has been fully treated for peace of mind. A very special and rare 18th Century occasional table to place in either a traditional or contemporary interior.
