George III Mahogany Fold Over Tea Table
A mahogany tea table, typical of the Georgian period. The table has a central frieze drawer with ring handle and is raised on moulded chamfered legs with corner spandrels. This table is a very attractive side table and when open is a useful breakfast or supper table. The table is a lovely rich colour with original patina. There are some minor marks to the top as would be expected with an item over 200 years old. There is evidence of historic repair, this is only visible when the top is open and is shown clearly in the photographs This is a very traditional Georgian table that would sit comfortably in a modern or period interior.
