Late 18th Century Gilt Bronze Buddha

A spectacular lacquered and gilded bronze sculpture of Buddha seated ob a double lotus base and a hexagonal stepped plinth. This antique sculpture is in original condition, the lacquer and gilding are worn in place, exposing the bronze, this is most attractive. A very striking and decorative object.
