Pair of 19th Century Copper & Brass Ships Lanterns

A very good of 19th Century ships lanterns made by W.Nunn & Co for Army and Navy, London, as shown on the plaque. These antique lanterns have brass drop handles and port and starboard brass plates. The lighting facility is accessed by a hinged rear door, this has the original closing mechanism. The condition is good, there is a small crack to the top corner of the glass of red port lamp, this is not easily visible and does not really affect the appearance of the lamp. A very decorative pair of antique ships lanterns to add a nautical flavour to any interior.
