Pair of 19th Century Painted Kashmir Table Lamps
A very decorative pair of wooden and papier-mache lamps raised on knopped and twisted stems and bell shaped bases. The lamps are painted in the traditional style of the Kashmir region of Northern India. The condition of the lamps is good, the bases are weighted to ensure that they stand evenly and firmly. They have been professionally rewired using a traditional cotton covered twisted flex and have brass bulb holders with switches. A very striking pair of antique table lamps ready to place in the home. Shades not included.
