Pair of Chinese Ceramic Garden Seats

A pair of early 20th Century Chinese famille vert barrel shaped garden seats painted with musicians playing in a garden. The sides and tops of both seats have decorative piercing. These piercings are surrounded by Chinese designs which are repeated in wide bands with enamel bosses which border the garden scene. The condition of both seats is very good. With striking colours and traditional Chinese decoration, these seats would be an important addition to a garden room, conservatory or hallway.
