Pair of High Back Yew & Elm Windsor Armchairs
This excellent pair of high back Thames Valley Windsor chairs date from the late 18th, early 19th Century. The pair have elm saddle seats, crook arm supports and crinoline stretcher. The backs have arching hoops with scribed edge line, the central splat has a wheel motif with central roundel. The colour of the chairs is excellent and the condition very good, they stand evenly and firmly. A superb pair of early Windsor armchairs to place in any setting.
