Victorian Mulberry Wood Campaign Toilette Box
A rare early Victorian brass mounted mulberry wood campaign toilette box. This superb antique gentleman's travelling box opens to reveal a mirror, brushes and various zinc canisters. There is a compartment for documents concealed behind the mirror. The mirror is a replacement. The box has a working lock and key. The rich colour and distinctive grain of the mulberry wood are complimented by the brass mounts, making this an outstanding antique campaign toilette box. A wonderful decorative box and unusual collectors piece.
